Notice is given that the 2017 Annual General Meeting of Members of the National Roads and Motorists’ Association Limited
(ABN 77 000 010 506) (‘NRMA’ or ‘the Company’) will be held at NEX Exhibition & Convention Centre (NEX), corner King Street
& Union Street, Newcastle West, New South Wales (and via the online portal referred to under the heading “virtual attendance at
the AGM” below) on Friday, 3 November 2017 at 10.30am.

controlled entities and the reports of the Directors and the Auditors in
respect of the financial year ended 30 June, 2017.

Virtual attendance at the AGM
Members can attend the meeting in person at NEX, or alternatively,
attend and participate in the meeting from any other place virtually
via an online portal available by clicking
If you would like to attend and participate virtually, via the online
portal, you can ask questions as well as see and hear proceedings
during the meeting.
More information about virtual attendance (including how to ask your
questions) is set out in the AGM Online Portal Guide available in the
AGM section of the NRMA website at mynrma.com.au/agm. You will
be able to test your web browser from 10:00am to ensure that you
can see and hear proceedings.

How business will be conducted at the meeting
Under the Corporations Act 2001 (Act), the Directors are required
to lay before the meeting the Financial Report and associated
reports of the Directors and the Auditors for the financial year
ended 30 June 2017. No resolution is required for this item of
business. However, Members will have an opportunity at the
meeting to ask questions about, or make comments on, these
reports and the management of the Company.
The Company’s Auditors will also be available to take Members’
questions about the conduct of the audit, the Auditors’ report,
the Company’s accounting policies and the independence of the
Auditors in relation to the conduct of their audit.
A Member who is entitled to attend and vote at the meeting has the
right to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of the Member.
A proxy need not be a Member of the Company and may be
an individual or a body corporate.
No proxy form is enclosed with this Notice of Meeting as there
are no resolutions on which to vote. However, if you wish to
lodge a proxy you can do so by:

Proxies must be received by the Returning Officer by no later
than 10.30am (Sydney time) on Wednesday, 1 November 2017.
NEX is part of Wests City, located in the heart of Newcastle. It is
serviced by a range of public transport and is located in the harbour
city precinct on the corner of King Street and Union Street. Parking is
available on-site with 140 spaces including disabled parking.
If coming by train, get off at Broadmeadow station and take a bus to
NEX. The bus takes about 17 minutes from Broadmeadow station.
The closest stop to NEX is Union Street, opposite Hunter Street.
